    Dispositions:
Our group understands that technology is changing the world because they realize how much of a difference it has made in our own personal lives. Technology has made lots of things easier to do. This will also have effect in our future classrooms as the use of technology can help us do lots of things.

    Knowledge:
Web 2.0 is an improvement from the original Web 1.0 which was the world wide web. This was just used to look up information. Web 2.0 allows users to interact with each otehr in numerous ways instead of just being an online source of information. Examples of how Web 2.0 has been used in today's modern world are BLOGs, social network devices and Wiki's.

    Skills:

One can construct a BLOG very simply for classroom instruction. They must first get a compatible account and they design the different parts of the BLOG such as font and color and widgets.
A teacher can construct a BLOG for classroom communication with students and parents by making the BLOG accesible to the public. Then if the students and parents are BLOG users the teacher can set up a way for them to be followers of the classroom BLOG.

You can digitize pictures and video with programs like photo shop or picasa. One can use software provided on the computer already to edit the media or use different software. First you must upload the media online and then you must use these programs to make the media digitized for use on the Web.

Constructing a Wiki for classroom instruction is sort of similar to constructing a BLOG for classroom use. Wikis are used to link different sites to the main site and also edit them. For classroom instruction a teacher could use a Wiki to make it easier to find web pages the students might be using for a specific unit or chapter.

An understanding that the knowledge of techonology is needed to function and communicate in this world today.
Realizing how important technology is and knowing how to use it in our world today.
Have a positive outlook on technology, and being willing to integrate technology into the classroom, rather than fearing it.

We as teachers can't be too proud to take a step back and learn a little big from the rising generations about technology because technology can further the learning process and the overall progress of a class.
